22 Funnel Types [Part II]: What Goes In Them, And When To Use Them
... And a book recommendation for mind-control techniques that actually work
I wrote 7,000 words this week — This newsletter is not one of them.
Yesterday, I finalized my guest post for Moz Blog at 4,000 words. During the week, I wrote a landing page and VSL for 3,000 words.
It’s a good thing I pre-wrote this newsletter because its a good one — Also, I don’t have the energy to write another word this week, so prepping ahead helps!
In this week’s newsletter, I break down 12 more funnel types, what goes in them, when is it best to use them, along with brands/companies that are using these funnels.
Didn’t read part I of this newsletter with funnel types 1-12? Check it out here.
Before we get to the funnel breakdown, here’s a copywriting tip FTW (for the week).
🖊️ The Copywriting Tip You Can Use Right Away: Write In Present Tense
The easiest, most direct, strongest form of a verb is its present tense. — Ann Handley, Everybody Writes
She gives an example of a simple sentence: Just do it.
Now look at what happens when we write it in conditional tense: You would just do it.
Or future tense: You will just do it.
Or past perfect continuous tense: I have been just doing it since 2015.
✅ The present tense is always readable and understandable. Try it yourself when you’re writing content next time.

✨ A Mindset Tip For Entrepreneurs
Never tie your worth to your income.
It’s easier said than done. But as freelancers, we tie our success back to how much money we make each month or quarter.
All those I made $10K in 3 days of social media posts don’t help either.
Know this: Your achievements are not the sum of your income. You are a business, a brand. Your achievements go back, front, and wide to cover your impact, influence, and network.
You got this.
📚 A Book Recommendation…
This week’s book recommendation is The Silva Mind Control Method, by José Silva.
The technique helps people reach an alpha state of mind, where brainwaves slow down to a frequency between seven and fourteen Hz, similar to when you're daydreaming or just about to fall asleep.
During this state, your mind is suggestible — you can rewire the brain to create a better consciousness, one that supports your goals.

This quote by José Silva shows that the images and thoughts you visualize in your mind can influence and shape your future reality. Essentially, what you focus on mentally can manifest in your life, suggesting that positive visualization and mental imagery can lead to the achievement of your goals and desires.
